Captain James Lawrence is nestled in the historical district of Burlington City. The mission of the school is to provide every student with a preeminent education and provide them with an environment that is conducive to learning.

Our school population is approximately 125 students in grades kindergarten to second. There are two classes of kindergarten, two first grades, two second grades and one special education class. In addition to our regular education classes, students participate in art, music, physical education, library, Spanish and computer technology. The computer technology instruction includes Compass Learning Odyssey, which provides each student with a learning path to reinforce skills and enhance learning.
